Mr. Md. Salahuddin is the Company Secretary and Head of HR & Admin at NRB Islamic Life Insurance PLC. From the very beginning of his academic life, he demonstrated exceptional achievements, securing a Talentpool Scholarship in Class Eight and passing both SSC and HSC in First Division. He went on to complete his BA (Hons.) and MA (First Class) from the University of Rajshahi, where he was honored with the prestigious Vice-Chancellor’s Gold Medal Award for his outstanding results. He further obtained an MBA in Human Resource Management from a private university in Dhaka and is currently pursuing an MPhil in Insurance at the University of Dhaka.

In addition to his academic accomplishments, Mr. Salahuddin is pursuing professional qualifications from the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) and the Associate Diploma (ABIA) of Bangladesh Insurance Academy. He also holds a Diploma in Islamic Insurance (Takaful) from the Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Finance (BIIF).

Mr. Salahuddin began his professional journey in 2009 as a Probationary Officer (HR & Admin) at Rupali Life Insurance Co. Ltd., where he served for five years. In 2012, he joined Homeland Life Insurance Ltd. as Assistant Manager (HR & Admin). Two years later, in 2014, he moved to the emerging 4th generation Islamic insurance company, Mercantile Islamic Life Insurance Ltd., where he served as Head of HR-Admin & Establishment. Over the course of his career, he has also held several other key positions, including: Assistant Company Secretary, Head of Public Relations, Head of Recovery & Legal, Head of Training & Research, Member Secretary of the Shariah Council

With more than 17 years of professional experience in the insurance sector, Mr. Salahuddin has undergone extensive training and participated in numerous seminars on Insurance Management, Business Development, Leadership, Islamic Banking & Takaful, Human Resource Management, Company Secretariat Practices, and Sales & Marketing. His training was enriched through renowned institutions including the Bangladesh Insurance Academy, Bangladesh Insurance Association, Bangladesh Institute of Professional Development (BIPD), Bangladesh Bank, Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT), Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Finance (BIIF), and Bangladesh Training & Research Institute (BTRI), among others.

Mr. Salahuddin is recognized as a distinguished and visionary professional in the life insurance industry. He has made remarkable contributions through his expertise in Human Resource Management, Company Secretariat, Takaful operations, Business Development, and Life Insurance operations. He is regarded as an Organizer, Developer, Policy Maker, Employment Analyst, HR Planner, Designer, Coordinator, Trainer, Motivator, and Takaful promoter.

Throughout his career, he has consistently demonstrated exemplary leadership, strategic vision, and a strong commitment to excellence. His dynamic management style, proactive engagement, and inspiring leadership continue to motivate professionals across the insurance sector.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Salahuddin is actively involved in social, cultural, and voluntary activities, and contributes research-based writings, particularly on Islamic Insurance (Takaful) and related areas.

Born into an aristocratic Muslim family in Monirampur Upazila of Jashore District, he is the son of Md. Solaiman Hossain and Anowara Khatun. He is a proud father of two daughters.
