NRB Islamic Life Insurance PLC handed over an insurance claim cheque of BDT 5,51,150 (Five Lakh Fifty-One Thousand One Hundred Fifty Taka) to Poli Aktar, the wife and nominee of the respected policyholder, late Mr. Nekbor Ali. The cheque was handed over by the company's Honorable Managing Director & CEO, Mr. Md. Shah Jamal Howlader.
The claim cheque was presented at a simple ceremony held on October 6, 2026, in the Board Room of the Head Office. The nominee received the full claim payout against a total premium deposit of only BDT 60,000.
Mr. H M Milon Rahman, AMD of the company, was present as the Special Guest. Presided over by Mr. Mohammad Mozammel Haque, SEVP (Sales & Marketing), the event was also attended by Mr. KSM Hanif, AMD & Head of IT; Mr. Md. Abu Hassan, CFO; Mr. Md. Salahuddin, Company Secretary & Head of HR; and Mr. Anwar Parvez, Senior Manager (HR) & Additional In-charge, Development Administration.
